Terms and Conditions
The terms that apply when you use our website and services.
These Terms and Conditions govern your use of the website cinadecorltd.site and any engagement with Cina Decor Ltd. By using this website, you agree to these terms.
1. About us
This website is operated by Cina Decor Ltd, registered in England & Wales, with its address at 171 Kingston Road, Teddington, England, TW11 9JP, United Kingdom. Contact [email protected] or +48 794 719 656.
2. Use of the website
You agree to use this website lawfully and not to misuse it. All content is owned by or licensed to us and may not be reproduced without permission.
3. Information provided
Information on this website is provided for general guidance and does not constitute a binding offer or professional advice. Any proposal or quotation is subject to a written agreement.
3a. Work we do not carry out
We do not carry out gas work of any kind. Any person carrying out work on gas fittings or appliances must be registered with the Gas Safe Register under the Gas Safety (Installation and Use) Regulations 1998, and we claim no such registration. We do not carry out electrical installation work; notifiable electrical work in dwellings is subject to Part P of the Building Regulations, and we claim no membership of any competent person scheme. We do not carry out asbestos removal, structural alterations, damp-proofing, roofing, plumbing, heating or glazing work. Where a job requires any of these, we will say so and the client should instruct the appropriate trade.
3b. Asbestos and lead
Asbestos. Asbestos-containing materials may be present in any building built or refurbished before 2000, including in textured decorative coatings, insulating board, ceiling tiles, floor tiles and panelling. Under the Control of Asbestos Regulations 2012 the duty to manage asbestos in non-domestic premises rests with the dutyholder, work liable to disturb asbestos requires an assessment and specific precautions, and higher-risk work may be carried out only by a contractor licensed by the Health and Safety Executive. If we encounter or suspect asbestos-containing material we will stop work immediately, will not disturb it, and will inform the client so that it can be surveyed by a competent person. We hold no asbestos licence and carry out no asbestos removal or remediation. Any delay or cost arising from that is not our responsibility, and a client who is aware of asbestos in the premises must tell us before work begins.
Lead. Paint containing lead may be present in buildings decorated before 1992. The Control of Lead at Work Regulations 2002 apply to work liable to expose any person to lead. Where lead paint is known or suspected, surfaces are prepared using wet methods with debris contained and the area cleaned down; we do not dry-sand, dry-scrape, burn off or hot-air strip paint that may contain lead. Clients should tell us if the premises are occupied by young children or by anyone who is pregnant so that additional precautions can be agreed.
3c. Quotations, site conditions and limits of the work
Quotations are given in writing, are itemised, state what preparation is included and state what is excluded. They are based on the surfaces and conditions visible at the time of inspection; concealed defects such as damp, rot, movement, failed substrates, previous unsuitable coatings or unsound plaster cannot be seen until preparation is under way, and work to deal with them is quoted separately before it is carried out. Decoration conceals nothing: paint applied over damp, rot or a failing substrate will fail, and we will advise against it rather than take the work. Exterior work depends on temperature, humidity and surface moisture and will be postponed rather than carried out in unsuitable conditions; postponement for weather is not a breach of any agreed timescale. Colour matching, sheen and coverage vary with substrate, lighting and batch, and samples or screen images are indicative only. Where a client supplies materials, we are not responsible for their suitability or performance. We are not designers, surveyors, architects or structural engineers and give no advice in those fields. Under the Construction (Design and Management) Regulations 2015 a client, including a domestic client, has duties in relation to construction work, and we will explain how they are discharged for a given job. We claim no trade association membership, accreditation, competent person scheme registration, guarantee or warranty scheme, insurance, award or qualification on this website. Waste is removed by a registered waste carrier or left for the client’s own disposal, as stated in the quotation. Nothing on this website is a quotation or an offer capable of acceptance.
4. Liability
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits our liability where it would be unlawful to do so, including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud. Subject to that, our liability in connection with this website is limited to the fullest extent permitted by law.
5. Privacy
We process personal data in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
6. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and any disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
7. Changes
We may update these Terms from time to time. The version published at the time of your visit applies.
